Namaste Democracy strives to strengthen the nation’s constitutional, civic and democratic engagement between people and politics by bringing political literacy to every doorstep. We envision a vibrant, engaged and aware India, where every citizen is empowered to actively participate in shaping the nation’s future.
We aim to be India's first youth-driven, non-partisan organization with politics and politicking at its core. Our mission is to escalate active engagement in classrooms to polling booths and parliament thereon, by addressing a critical yet often overlooked step: political literacy. We are committed to promoting political literacy across India, with a keen focus on cohorts and regions where voter disengagement and apathy are most prevalent.
